Nicholas is a corporate and commercial lawyer with over 10 years of experience in corporate and commercial advisory, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, infrastructure projects, fundraising, regulatory advice, real property, administrative law and commercial disputes.

Previously, Nicholas worked in specialist leading boutique firms and as in-house counsel at Macquarie University (which operates Macquarie University Hospital).

The industries that he has gained expertise include higher education, health and aged care, medical device manufacturing, professional services and consulting, and information technology.

As a University in-house lawyer, Nicholas worked on major projects, including in partnership with the private sector, together with providing legal advice on commercial dealings, administrative law, litigation and discrimination. Some examples of the projects that he has worked on include the construction and fitout of a Hospital, construction and management of student accommodation, development of a major medical device manfacturer’s headquarters and manufacturing facility and the construction of a library with a robotic retrieval and archiving system.
