Natasha has nearly 20 years' experience in public liability, CTP and product liability claims and in particular, major and catastrophic claims, on behalf of insurers, self-insurers and government departments.
Natasha is skilled in advocacy and enjoys appearing in CARS assessments and interlocutory proceedings. She has studied trial advocacy and ADR, and provides advice and training to her clients in these fields.
Natasha has an interest in statutory interpretation and exploring some of the more technical issues that arise in insurance cases. She also provides advice on policy interpretation, privacy issues, and legislative amendments.
Natasha acts for insurers in matters seeking recovery of their payments from third party tortfeasors.
Natasha is a defendant personal injury specialist with a particular interest in advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. For example with a major self-insurer, she has achieved a 95% acceptance rate and a 90% settlement rate.
Natasha works closely with insurer claims officers and conducts a quarterly clinic where they can obtain a fresh view on problems and complexities in their files.
