Andrew is a Associate Partner in Holman Webb's Sydney Commercial Recovery and Insolvency Group. He was admitted as a solicitor in 2010 and has practiced extensively in the arrears of priority disputes involving NSW caveats in the Supreme Court, securities enforcement on behalf of mortgagee banks and trade creditors, debt recovery litigation and insolvency litigation such as defending unfair preference claims.
Andrew has completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and in April 2016 was awarded an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency by the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association (ARITA).
Andrew regularly appears in defended proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court, New South Wales Supreme Court, District and Local Court and has experience in litigation in other jurisdictions outside of New South Wales.
In November 2022, Andrew was awarded the Australian Institute of Credit Management's NSW Division Legal Representative of the Year award.
Andrew has an in-depth knowledge of insolvency litigation, with a proven track record in successfully defending unfair preference, uncommercial transaction claims and other voidable transaction claims on behalf of his trade clients.
Trade Credit - Acting for the credit departments of major corporations in all aspects of trade credit including reviewing terms and conditions of sale, enforcing credit agreements including retention of title and charging clauses and associated guarantees and securities.
Equipment Finance - Acting for the leasing divisions of major banks and finance companies in relation to the enforcement of all forms of finance contracts.
Strata Titles - Acting for body corporates and their managers (BCMs) with respect to the recovery of strata levies and in relation to other litigation concerning strata titles.
Insolvency - Acting in all types of administrations and in relation to unfair preference claims, uncommercial transactions and insolvent trading.
