For over 30 years Mark has acted for insurers and insured in a wide variety of indemnity and commercial disputes.
Mark has been involved in many of the leading professional indemnity and Australian insurance law cases, most recently the decision of the full Federal Court of Australia in Watkins Syndicate 0457 at Lloyds v Pantaenius Australia Pty Ltd.
He has practised extensively in financial lines insurance, particularly accountants and Directors & Officers, and a wide variety of coverage disputes across all fields of insurance.
Mark also has had extensive experience in drafting insurance policies and advising on policy interpretations.
The depth and length of Mark’s experience enables him to write extensively and present frequently on a wide variety of insurance and liability issues.
Since 2008, Mark has been listed every year in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific list for Insurance and every year since 2011, Mark has been selected by his peers for inclusion on the Best Lawyers list for Australia in the practice area of Insurance.
