About

Linda is a Senior Associate within Holman Webb’s General Insurance team.  

Her current practice predominantly consists of property damage, personal injury, and professional indemnity insurance matters, with additional files in public liability, product liability, fire and water damage, and commercial debt recovery case work. The role requires a considerable amount of attendance in court and settlement negotiations. Her experience in this role has enabled her to develop a careful eye for detail and maintain a high standard of technical excellence in her work.

Linda practices in a variety of classes of work, including general and products liability as well as pursuing subrogated recovery actions.

Experience

In her previous role as a Plaintiff personal injury solicitor, she managed a practice of over 130 files comprising of CTP, public liability and medical negligence as a Plaintiff Solicitor. In this role, she ensured that her clients understood and felt included in the legal process, and was relentless in trying to achieve the best outcomes both in and out of court.

• Linda practices in a wide range of matter types, including general and products liability as well as pursuing subrogated recovery actions.
• She is experienced in providing advice to insurers on coverage and indemnity issues in relation to insurance policies, quantum and apportioned liability.
• Linda has a detailed understanding of how Plaintiff Solicitors view and value insurance claims, and have brought this knowledge into her practice as an Insurance Solicitor.
