Within the banking and finance industries, Roger has acted for both private clients and numerous major lending institutions, including banks, corporates and joint venture lenders – for whom he has prepared security documents in respect of property securities and other assets. He has prepared documents to evidence and secure large lending facilities, and is conversant with the general commercial and security requirements of banks and private financiers.
For property matters, Roger's expertise extends to commercial and retail leasing, general conveyancing, acting on the acquisition and sale of commercial and residential properties, land subdivision and both strata subdivision and joint ventures. Roger has a similarly high level of experience in relation to commercial and retail leasing matters, and regularly advises on all aspects of property ownership, easements, covenants and restrictions on use.
Alongside his role as a key advisor on banking, finance and property matters, Roger is especially experienced in assisting private clients (including individuals, families and small businesses) with the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship deeds. In line with this, Roger often advises on matters relating to Estate Planning and Will disputes.
Roger is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, and a Member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
