With speakers including the Hon. Wayne Martin AC QC, the Hon. Kevin Lindgren AM QC, Dr Sam Luttrell and Deborah Lockhart, the ‘Mediating in the Headlights of Litigation and Arbitration’ Masterclass will present a real-world view of the mediation process in complex commercial matters.

This Masterclass event and the following two day advanced accreditation course will be relevant for all Legal Representatives, Mediators and Arbitrators seeking an audience with leaders in ADR, as well as experienced mediators looking to complete their Advanced Commercial Mediation Accreditation.

In the recent decision of Mann & Anor v. Paterson Constructions Pty Ltd [2019] HCA 329 on 9 October 2019, the High Court clarified the circumstances in which a restitutionary claim on quantum meruit will be available to a contractor who has elected to terminate the contract for the other party's repudiation, in relation to entire contracts and separable portion contracts.
