Chris is a Partner in Holman Webb’s Commercial Recovery & Insolvency Team, and primarily practices in the areas of commercial recovery, insolvency and civil litigation.

Chris draws on high-level experience gained across a range of industries; his clients include financiers, building supply companies, real estate investors, property developers, private schools and insolvency practitioners.

Acting for both plaintiffs and defendants, Chris has successfully represented a variety of clients to recover millions in judgments, settlements and defended claims - and has achieved favourable resolutions without trial through the use of mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

With over a decade of litigation experience, Chris has a particular focus on:

• Insolvency advice and litigation (including defending preference claims on behalf of businesses, acting for directors under public examination, and acting for insolvency practitioners in a wide range of actions);
• Trade credit and financial service/mortgagee recoveries;
• Property and lease disputes;
• Trade Practices, Competition and Consumer Act.
