I’m a defendant personal injury specialist with a particular interest in advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. For example with a major self-insurer I have achieved a 95% acceptance rate and a 90% settlement rate.

I work closely with insurer claims officers and conduct a quarterly clinic where they can obtain a fresh view on problems and complexities in their files.

Industry Experience

I have 13 years of experience in public liability, CTP and product liability claims and in particular, major and catastrophic claims, on behalf of insurers, self-insurers and government departments. I have represented insurers in dust diseases cases as well a developing specialty in ‘mould law’ affecting home insurers and professional indemnity insurers in the property industry.

I have also provided advice on policy interpretation, privacy issues, and legislative amendments.
